Frederick J Haycock
Frederick J Haycock was born in Warwickshire in 1948 where he still lives with his family.He studied at both the Nuneaton School of Art and Coventry College of Art & Design after which he worked for ten years as an illustrator and painted in his spare time.Due to the increasing demand for his work, he began painting professionally in 1982.
Local exhibitions of his work led to many private commissions and his originals are now in collections in Europe, USA and Japan.His work was first published by Soloman & Whitehead in 1993 and all of his earlier Limited Edition Prints are now sold out.
'Quite Often I sit and make many sketches of dogs using my knowledge of anatomy and movement without a particular breed in mind; only choosing the breed and model for the painting after reviewing the sketches.
