Snowy Post Box by Timmy Mallett

There are few more (very) British sights than that of the rural Royal Mail post box, in whatever product design form and function it takes. And there are few more stalwarts of almost eccentric Britishness than the former children’s TV presenter and perceivably lose cannonball that was/very much still is, Timmy Mallett.
Having reinvented himself as a well received and suitably impressive bona fide contemporary fine artist in recent times, his brand new 2014 limited edition hand embellished giclee release seen here (and entitled, ‘Snowy Post Box (Winter Morning)’) continues his eclectic illustrative theme, which is often brought together by depicting bastions of full Englishness as its core subject matter.
