Sea Breeze by Richard Blunt

Working from photographs, hugely successful contemporary figurative artist, Richard Blunt employs both himself and his wife in the guise of muses in a sizeable chunk of his hallmark compositions. He captures those initial images of his two witting models courtesy of his remote-controlled tripod stand and although this approach is admittedly fraught with difficulty in attempting to obtain the perfect shot, the resultant reference material is a means to a very visual end.
Spring 2014 sees the unveiling of Blunt’s very latest compositional reveal witnessed here, and entitled ‘Sea Breeze’.
