After studying Art and Design at Cheltenham College of Higher Education, Victoria graduated from Falmouth College of Arts, Cornwall, in 2002 with a First Class BA Honours degree in Illustration.
On leaving university, Vicky accepted her first professional commission for Children’s television to illustrate a BAFTA award winning series ‘Ripley and Scuff” for Childrens ITV. Since 2003 Vicky has been working as a freelance illustrator enjoying an exciting and varied range of commissions for clients both in the UK and in the United States.
She regularly produces artwork for limited edition prints and greetings cards, with well over a hundred cards published. Clients include: Harcourt Education, Scholastic, Gullane, Sino Publishing, Hallmark Cards, Woman & Home magazine, Fountainhead Art Brands, Innovative Kids, Doodlelab, Pearson Scott Foresman, The Children's Company for CITV and De Montfort Fine Art. Victoria works predominantly in acrylic, often introducing mixed media such as photographic image transfer or ink for a more contemporary effect.
Her latest collection introduces us to the glamorous and hectic world of the “it girl”, and uses humour and an in-depth knowledge of what women want to create irresistible, amusing images.
